Terms & Conditions

Our general terms and conditions for booking and using our vacation apartments.

§ 1 Scope

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the rental of vacation apartments by [COMPANY NAME] (hereinafter "Landlord") to the guest (hereinafter "Tenant") for temporary accommodation, as well as all other services provided in this context.

§ 2 Booking & Contract

The presentation of vacation apartments on our website does not constitute a binding offer. By submitting your booking request, you make a binding offer. The contract is only concluded upon our written booking confirmation (by email).

§ 3 Prices & Payment

All prices shown are final prices including statutory VAT. Additional costs such as final cleaning or tourist tax will be listed separately in the booking confirmation. Payment is made as stated in the booking confirmation — typically [NUMBER]% deposit upon booking and the remaining balance [NUMBER] days before arrival.

§ 4 Cancellation

The Tenant may cancel the contract at any time before the start of the rental period. The date of receipt of the cancellation by the Landlord is decisive. The following fees apply upon cancellation: • Up to [NUMBER] days before arrival: free of charge • [NUMBER]–[NUMBER] days before arrival: [PERCENT]% of the total price • Less than [NUMBER] days before arrival: [PERCENT]% of the total price • No-show without cancellation: 100% of the total price The Tenant is free to prove that the Landlord suffered no or less damage.

§ 5 Check-in & Check-out

§ 6 House Rules

The Tenant agrees to treat the vacation apartment with care and to comply with the house rules. Smoking is strictly prohibited in all apartments. Pets are only permitted with prior approval and subject to a surcharge. Parties and events are not allowed. The Tenant is liable for all damages caused by themselves or their fellow travelers.

§ 7 Liability

The Landlord is not liable for the loss or damage of the Tenant's belongings, unless the loss or damage was caused intentionally or through gross negligence by the Landlord. Use of all facilities and equipment is at the Tenant's own risk.

§ 9 Final Provisions

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is Berlin, insofar as the Tenant is a merchant, a legal entity under public law, or a special fund under public law.
